Editing your AI hero image

Some Wiz emails feature a hero image - a large banner that Wiz's AI designs for you using your branding and best-selling products. You'll find it on emails like your 1st Welcome email and AI-generated campaigns. If the text in the image isn't quite right, or you'd rather feature different products, you can change it in a few clicks.

There are two ways to do it, and picking the right one saves you time:

Edit hero - keep the current image and make a small change (fix wording, change the button text, add or remove an element).
New hero - generate a completely new image, and choose which products it features.

Finding the hero controls

Open the email you want to change (Flow Editor → select an email → Edit → Edit Email Template, or open a campaign in the editor). In the preview on the right, click the hero image. A small toolbar appears at the top of the image with Edit hero and New hero.

Option 1 - Edit hero (small changes)

Use Edit hero when the image is basically right and you just want to tweak it - for example, fix a typo, change the button wording, or add/remove a small element.

Click Edit hero, describe the change in plain language, and click Apply edits.

Tips for good results

Be specific: "Change the button text to Shop the Sale" works better than "fix the button."
Make one change at a time for the most reliable results.

Edit hero can't change which products appear. It edits the existing image only. To feature different products, use New hero below.

Option 2 - New hero (change the products or start fresh)

Use New hero when you want different products in the image, or a completely new look.

Click New hero, then:

Choose what to feature - a single Product, or a Collection.
Showcase these products (up to 3) - search and pick the exact products you want shown in the image. (With Product selected, you'll pick one; with Collection, up to three.)

Describe the hero in the text box at the top (occasion, offer, style), then click Generate hero.

Prefer to use your own image?

If you'd rather not use an AI-generated hero at all, you can upload your own. With the hero selected, open the Image panel on the left and click Upload to replace it with your own file.

Common questions

The text in my hero image looks wrong or garbled.

Use Edit hero and describe the exact text you want (e.g. "Change the headline to 'Summer Sale - 20% off'"). If it's still not right after a couple of tries, generate a New hero, or upload your own image.

I don't like the products shown in my hero.

Use New hero - that's where you choose the products. Pick a Product or Collection and add up to three products to showcase, then Generate.

Will editing the hero change my discount?

No. The hero image is just the banner design. Your discount is set separately - see Changing a discount.
