Changing your language
Wiz has two separate language settings, and it helps to know which one you're changing:
- App language - the language of the Wiz interface you work in.
- Email language - the language your emails to customers are written in.
They're independent, so you can run the app in one language and send emails in another.
Change the app (interface) language
Go to Brand & Settings and change the app's language. This updates the Wiz interface only - it has no effect on the emails your customers receive.
Change the email language
Your email language is part of your branding. Go to Brand & Settings → Branding → Edit branding and change the language field, then save. (This is the same look & feel form you filled in during onboarding - see Updating your branding.)
Changing the language of existing flows
If you want your existing flow emails in the new language too, you have to rebuild them with Regenerate flows. This recreates all your flow emails using your current branding, including the new language.
Common questions
Can I use one language for the app and another for my emails?
Yes. The app language and the email language are set separately, so they can differ.
I changed the email language but my flow emails are still in the old language. Why?
That's expected. The language change applies to emails created going forward. To change existing flows, use Regenerating your flows.
Where do I change the language customers see in emails?
In Brand & Settings → Branding → Edit branding, in the language field - not in the app language setting, which only changes the interface.
