Exporting your email list

Good news - your contacts aren't locked inside Wiz. All your contacts live natively in Shopify, so exporting your list is done straight from Shopify.

Your contacts live in Shopify

Wiz doesn't keep a separate contact database. When someone subscribes through the Wiz pop-up, they're added to Shopify with a subscribed status. Wiz reads and writes contacts in Shopify - so Shopify is always your single source of truth for who's on your list.

How to export

Use Shopify's built-in customer export:

In your Shopify admin, go to Customers.
(Optional) Filter to the customers you want - for example, by email subscription status.
Click Export and choose your options.
Shopify emails you a CSV of your customer list.

Common questions

Does Wiz have its own export button?

You don't need one - because contacts live in Shopify, you export from Shopify → Customers → Export, and you'll have everyone including their subscription status.

Will the export include people who signed up via the Wiz pop-up?

Yes. Pop-up sign-ups are added to Shopify as subscribed customers, so they're part of your normal Shopify customer list.
